I will have to admit, i'm one of those gym rats who do weights. I'm actually bench pressing the 100lb dumbells right now and am packing on some muscle mass. From what i'm reading here though, I should stop all that i've worked for in the gym and start just doing sit ups, push ups, and chin ups mixed in with treadmill running? Wow, that would be a totally different lifestyle for me. I am giving this alot of thought though because whats being said does make alot of sense. If I stop lifting weights and start doing the isometrix, wont I loose my strength that i've worked this long for?
PS. The bodybuilding way of thinking is ingesting about 200 grams of protien a day...but I have since stopped that since I've learned how unhealthy that really was.
