Dr,
I shared information with two Naturopath Drs who were members of the Candida Yahoo Group I used to post in the past. Honestly, I have many debates with them about topics linked to candida, but I find you more prepared and documented than both of them.
Yes, I agree Chronic Candidisis have immunologic roots. The good new is most of the time this immunologic fail is acquired.
This makes possible to correct the problem in order to recover .
In my view, in "normal" people the immunologic fail is linked to an acquired immune tolerance to the presence of candida antigen for long time, heavy metal toxicity, specially mercury, and adrenal extenuation caused by a improper life style that include diet, chronic stress, excessive work, lack of rest, etc. One time the infection is established, the battle becomes harder since the organism have many resources to increase the already depressed immune system.

The situation can also be a combination of these factors where triggers such as antibiotics, antiacids, etc make possible to develop this syndrome.
