Enemas
Hi Dr. Bakker,
I have found your discussions on this board informative.
I was wondering what your thoughts are on enemas as part of a anti-candida treatment. Have they been effective in your experience? Have they done more harm than good.
I have just recently started experimenting with a few different kinds: plain water, nystatin and one coffee enema. All of these I've done in conjunction with Psyllium/Bentonite/Capryloil shakes in hopes that I might flush some candida alongside whatever other benefits each individual enema might offer. My hope is that by flushing some out I might move faster through the die-off stage, which for me has now been since January and relentlessly heavy. So far I have not seen the strings that other people seem to find only small white or white-orange flakes. With the nystatin enemas, I have definitely found heavier die-off. With the coffee one, I found I experienced both a die-off dump but also a lightening of brain fog, followed several hours later by what felt like a moderate caffeine crash (perhaps I did absorb the caffeine).
Have you found enemas to be an effective means of removing a mass of candida?
Does it justify the possibility of flushing away also the good bacteria?
Might the benefits to my liver with a coffee enema outweigh an occasional burden on my adrenals?
Sasha.
