I think being colder means we are not saturated with iodine, yet.

I believe that T4 converts to T3 and being on hormones would suppress some of the convertion since it is already getting hormone for the pill.

I am not sure of which symptoms mean its time to lower hormone dose, but maybe someone else will explain.
