Iodine would have been great, but I think I also lacked selenium and amino acids. I never like eating meat, but I wasn't substituting it in my diet. So, had I known about Iodine then, it would still have meant making other changes too for the Iodine to be able to have a positive effect.

The only thing I knew about Iodine back then was that the docters told me it was dangerous for me because of my Hashimoto's! They made me avoid it entirely! Not a good advise to give to a person with a struggling thyroid.
