Re: also taking iodine (nascent iodine)

My theory is the Iodine raises your body temp and causes the outbreak. Usually the sides of my lips crack and tiny cold sores pop up when my body temp raises due to ovulation time of the month. I noticed the Iodine makes this same sensation happen as well. I hope continued taking it will make the sores leave and never return! It may have something to do with thyroid hormones being kicked started by the iodine
