My older sister became involved with the occult at college and began having strange "supernatural" experiences. It may be a clear cut case of possession. I do not know if she was latently schizophrenic before this activity. She remains a nut case to this day, albeit a functioning one. My mother was a paranoid nut case. And I have had my problems with fears as well.

I come from a family with alcoholism and diabetes on both sides. The book, Sugar Blues, talks about the disease of schizophrenia being more prevalent in these types of families.
