Re: My time has come!

Yes, the barrier ointments are helping with the inflammation, and possibly bacteria. Constant moisture must decrease inflammation, but it takes longer than a strong cortisone ointment like the one I used the other day. I just might use it once in while when I have an important event. What concerns me is you wrote that your lips were building up a little after you stopped using the ointment. Because constant moisture may decrease inflammation, I am afraid the inflammation will eventually come back when you stopping the moisture method. I want a cure as much as you do. Going by the history of this forum, the moisture which has been described as constantly applying barrier ointment to lips ha not healed the lips permanently. I am surprised my lips still are not peeling after a couple days without cortisone ointment, but I know they will peel again.
