im still confused as to exactly what and how the Co2 does. it makes cell membranes more permeable somehow? im assumming by human battery cells u mean mitochondria?

the only other explanations iv come across are that carbonation somehow releases or increases negative ions and somehow helps to create a more beneficial structure of the compounds in the solution..?
