I only add my comment here, fantastic stuff, well worth the small effort of gathering the materials... a soda stream machine available at Target, Wal-mart or similar stores for less than $100 will make a lot of carbonated water... and a local grocery store near me carried the pickling salt... two main brands in the US, Mortons, or "mrs. wages"... both have web pages that will let you know where you can buy in your area...
