Re: Mike Pylon

Many people on here have seen staph in their biopsy results, including me.

Everyone I have read of, and me, have treated it with an Antibiotic and nothing has changed.

Supporting most derm's hypothesis that any infection is most likely secondary, and due to the lack of hygiene of our lips and the hyperkeratosis being an ideal spot for infection.

If this was staph then it would be a relatively easy fix.

My staph was cultured and found not to be Antibiotic resistant and I was prescribed an Antibiotic based on the results of the culture. And it did nothing.

Like I said, his antibiotic was most likely preventative and any infection is most likely secondary. If an infection was the cause then this would be a pretty easy fix.
