From what I read, staph bacteria often does not show up in tests. The antibacterial ointment for staph infection seemed to work for him. Or I wonder if his lips would have healed without it. It must be a strong antibacterial if it is used to treat staph. I think a lot of us have used OTC antibacterial ointments not meant to treat a stronger staph infection.
