Kcirla: I have done a very extensive research & found that there are at least 8 good books (customer rated) available on Amazon on UT. There are many cultures all over the world from east to west, in the past & to date who believe and have documented the use of UT. There are several millions of people today in China, Japan & India who practice UT for various ailments & general health. How can all these people be wrong? Of course when I first heard of it, the idea sounded very bizarre because I couldn't understand how one's own urine which is supposedly a waste product can be good but after research I am fully convinced that this works but nobody really knows how it works. May be it works like how vaccines work or may be it works by integrating the body information between circulatory/immune system with digestive system. Who knows? Most conventional doctors don't believe in it but they also don't believe in naturopathy & herbal approach too. Anyway, I am trying it for myself to see if it works for me. BTW, it was a MD doctor who suggested (not prescribed) that UT may work for me as it did to her other clients. I also believe in the approaches you suggested like juice-fasting, herbs, friendly probiotic bacterias and enemas. I'm going to try these too. Anyway, thanks for expressing your view point on this.
