Re: Cortisol and Vitamin C

The soups have really been the cornerstone of my diet. Sometimes I even make a hearty veggie soup without meat, but I will throw in a couple tablespoons of coconut or olive oil and use chicken broth diluted with water.

I get my chickens from a local farm, and they give me the whole bird, parts and all. I take all the bones, necks, and gizzards and throw them all in a pot with carrots, kale, mushrooms, and whatever other veg I feel like throwing in. The minerals are excellent, and its a good way to get the fat and protein without feeling heavy and bloated. Plus one big pot will last me about 3 days.

Yes, the weather here in Florida is ideal, but sometimes the extreme heat and humidity will get me. Just walking to the mailbox at the end of the drive will have me feeling like I'm going to pass out during the summer. Right now it's a gorgeous 75. I wish it stayed like this all the time!
