Delusional Parasitosis is a recognized mental illness. I would never presume to judge who has this illness and who does not. However there are people who go from doctor to doctor and get massive doses of dangerous medicines and never feel they are "cured". There are almost always quacks who will tell them what they want to hear for a price.
