Thanks for the suggestions - i have some CS to hand so could give that a go - always had sensitive eyes and rubbish at doing eye baths but i'll try to see what happens.

I don't like the idea of parasites scattering! You're scaring me lol
Funnily enough i seemed to have alot of phlegm stuck at the back of my throat/nasal passage today - it wouldn't clear...then eventually i managed to 'pull it' and spit it out - im afriad i didn't look and rinsed it away asap.

Since doing that the mucous feeling has subsided.
