You can still eat 80-10-10 style doing grain-free. The original 80-10-10 is supposed to be raw, grain-free based on fruits as your staple for calories with leafy greens as the remainder. You can also use tubors (potatoes, sweet potatoes, yams, yuca, etc) as a staple too. I usually eat fruit until the evening then have either grains or tubers as my evening staple.
