Re: feel worse
Breads, biscuits and soda pops have bicarbonate in them, so it's possible that it's depleting your potassium levels which is causing your fast heart beat the next day. In addition, they may contain too much salt which may also have similar effect. Most carbonated drinks contain caffein which may also cause heart palpitation.
I am not a nutritionist or an expert by any means but i suggest to stay away from too much salt, caffein, fried foods, processed foods, canned foods (too much salt in them), alcohol, smoking, soft drinks, fast foods, excessive
Sugar and eating out in restaurants.
Eating out in restaurants all the time is just not healthy, no matter what the restaurant advertises. Instead, cook at home yourself with good ingredients with good oils like avocado oil. Your health will benefit from it and your pocket will thank you. Also consider taking good quality fish oil, vitamin B complex and consuming nuts like unsalted almonds and such (not sure about peanuts).
You may also ask your doctor to check you potassium, magnesium,
Iodine levels along with other important minerals and maybe cortisol levels. If s/he says no, you can always go to a nutritionist and do a hair analysis for a couple hundred bux. Hair analysis may also show you if you have any allergies that may be causing your fast heart beat.
Hope this was helpful and wish you and your daughter feel better.
