Re: longterm!

I posted a photo of my EC hardened lips in another post The photo was small since I created a screenshot of the lips on face. I did not document the healing process with photos, but it is not a long process if you want to try it. Your lower lip might look funny for the first week because you get brown Iodine stain marks where you have buildup. But once the buildup smooths out or is eliminated with treatment, the Iodine no longer leave stain lines on lower lip.

The Iodine Potassium drops are just as important as the silicone scar strips since the drops are able to penetrate deeper into tissue to shrink fordyce spots than the silicone scar strips. Both work together to heal the lips. I suggest to apply the drops with a Q-tip so your fingers do not get stained. After the lips are healed, it is possible that only the silicone scar strips are needed to maintain results if inflammation in intestines or allergies are the cause.

The Iodine Potassium drops also decrease fibroblasts, in addition to killing nay infection within seconds. It certainly can get rid of any infection in fordyce spots or clean exposed fordyce spots before they shrink.

I started using the strips after I peeled my lips.

It is so awesome to no longer get that white gunk on my vermillion border! :)
