Well, as expected, you all have not disappointed. Thanks for all suggestions, links and thoughts to ponder.

I have to admit, I was a bit surprised that I caught the cold, but the germs were abounding at my house, as I had my granddaughter here for two days last week because she had a fever and then cold symptoms. I had been going through what I think was bromide detox the last two weeks with a lot of breakouts, so wondering if there was just too much going on for my immune system to keep everything at bay, plus the night before I came down with it, I stood around a campfire and breathed in way too much smoke. I'm sure my terrain has not been too clean.

I'm fairly certain, at 10mo, that I'm still not Iodine sufficient, and will be curious to see where I'm at with the loading test in a couple weeks. I'm hoping once I get my Iodine levels where they need to be, if it will help with nutrient absorption as well, which should help keep me well.

I had also started using diamotaceous earth to help eliminate the mercury that the Iodine may be moving, which is what seems to have started the breakouts.

I will say this is the worst cold that I've had in a long time. I've had the hardest sneezes and coughing up a lot, so my immune system may have been a little delayed in keeping it at bat, but it's sure making up for it now ;)
