Grizz, my D is low according to the medical standards (25). I just know that Newport, whom I respect and others have some issues with supplementing Vit D. I don't propose to know or understand the whole jest of it, but read enough to want to use caution ;)
But you may be right, it could be, in part, why I caught the cold. Maybe I'll look into one of those sun lamps ;). I'm hoping my next Iodine loading test will show that I'm at least absorbing more. I just hate wasting it, but I don't know another way other than to keep plugging along with the higher doses of Iodine :)
I did take 10,000 iu D3 this morning and may take another this evening, but I can't long term until I know more. I'll keep taking mega doses of Vit C :)
