It just amazes me that anyone would feel that you must be on your face to learn truth. when the word of God has all truth needed for our life. practices and godliness.
Paul nor any other Apostle ever said they had to get on their face to learn the truth. Nor did any of them ever teach it.
here is the verse he uses to justify his privately interpreted doctrine of the holy Spirit guiding him into all truth. The problem is Jesus never gave this to anyone other than the immediate twelve disciples, and this was commanded them before he went to the cross. Not even Jesus said a man needs to get on his face to learn the truth. Jesus taught it using the word of God.
John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
Not recognizing that a whole and complete Bible was not taught nor available to Israel in those days.
ALL truths would today include all the truths taught by Paul and the Apostles after AD32 up unto a completed Bible was put together with ALL the TRUE words of God.
Ps 119:160 ¶ Thy word [is] true [from] the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments [endureth] for ever.
From the beginning unto the ending Gods words are true words preserved in the word of God, the Holy Bible.
ALL truth needed for life in this world and our soul in the next is found in the Holy Bible. No additional or new truths are available trough travailing in the spirit on your face.
