Re: Candida, Turpentine and Lactulose
The meat has been nailing me too! But its hard to get enough calories without meat. Yesterday I made a bean soup with plenty of veg. Parsley seemed to help with detoxing too...
The Lactulose you can purchase from any chemist (you can in England) over the counter. Its a laxative, with the added effect of drawing out ammonia from the blood and acidifying the colon. It does help short term, but its not very practical all the time! So I'm going to put it on the back burner, try and eat less meat, and wait for my five lac to arrive!
I'm also going to try a liver cleanse:

It seems to me that it might be my liver that is the cause of all my troubles. The lack of bile seems to make sense, so I might also try and grab some Ox Bile, but i already have plenty of enzymes that I take, that also have a little ox bile in them.
If these
Liver Cleanses don't work I honestly won't know what else I can do. I've tried everything! I'm really just clutching at straws.
I had a blood test yesterday that said I had an overactive thyroid, so I'll look into what I can do for that... I'm sure its just a symptom of Candida and liver stress. the doctor just said he'll test my thyroid again in 6 months, so not much help from the medical community!
Hopefully Syntol plus five lac plus liver cleanse plus candida diet (continued!) will yield some results. Otherwise I'm going the Kurt Cobain route.
Good luck on your quest for health!
