Re: hydrocortisone/cortisol

Last Thursday, My Endocrinologist put me on the cortisone pill, 20mg a day. I want to give everyone a heads up who takes the Saliva test all day. I promise the only important 1 of all day is the MIDNIGHT result. Do BLOOD. Keep going with tests. MANY tests. I have them all written down, but too sick to get them right now. My adrenals are in CRISIS, and I mean near death!!! The stupid Cortisone pill is terrible and not working for me. Problem is I have type 1 diabetes, gastro intestinal disease, heart stent, PAD,etc. I feel so sick, and even more Tired!!!!! I go again this Thursday 8/9/12 to do more tests and see what the heck. These tests turned up ADDISON'S Disease Folks, not just our adrenals function low. Research a good Doc. Get away from them supplements, they will only make you worse. Pick 1 and stick to 1. Injections make you sicker because you cannot get it out of your system like a pill. GOOD LUCK!!!
