Re: Water Fast and Mercury Poisoning +edit
I wonder if it''s the same thing I had done once by a ND. that involved a computer? This was decades ago. My then-young son and I were tested, and the results were pretty much what we'd already intuited. Most meat was out, as was dairy, etc. etc. I recall turkey was said to be okay.
We had never eaten much meat.
One thing I learned that has held value through the years (though I think this was learned from our saliva) was that we both ought to have 1/2 a lemon every day in water. And we mostly keep that up.
(at the time, I knew next to nothing of pH... but loved lemon.)
The other 600 dollar thing with the blood,in my view, is just another way to spend too much money. :-) And get yourself a long list of avoids, that you can wrestle with. But my attitude to "allergies" is completely other than it once was. Basically, look to the liver. Allergies are more truly signs of a congested liver, than anything else--which is not to say that one ought to just go ahead and eat anything; or that environmental toxins don't exist, or that allergic symptoms aren't "real".
But looking at the picture from another perspective other than the 'lists' of do's and don't, leads a person back to their own power; and taking their own responsibility for health. It sounds daunting, but it begins to be fun.
Some Natural Hygienists assert that all disease begins with mineral deficiency. Some would disagree, but I believe that's pretty close to accurate. Most people, MDs, ND's and everyone else, know that individuals usually don't want to change what they are doing: we resist change. So, they work from, and within that paradigm. How often do you hear someone who's not in the bloom of health, by far, saying something like "I'm going to enjoy myself!" by which they mean, use the crutch of something processed or otherwise congestive to the body, in order to fill some desire for fleeting sensation.
Truly, we are *up against it*, if we are involved in ingesting anything that has a list of ingredients of any sort: there are food scientists whose expertise is in creating 'mouth feel', and corporations whose value is predicated on the millions and quadrillions who 'can't do without my'> --insert name of food. Let's not even go into the many currently allowable names of MSG, including this one: "natural flavors" !!! You would almost think there's a
Conspiracy afoot! :-)
So, if I were feeling very concerned about my health, feeling stuck, and thinking of looking at allergies...I'd rethink my focus. I can say after years of searching here and there for some holy grail of better health, that it comes back to the basics.
I retired my doctor about a decade ago. I eat one meal a day, usually, except in winter, when it might go to two. I like to do a few
Water Fasts a year. My preference is for a longer-ish one 21 days, but shorter is fine too. I go by intuition, which gets sharper and more trustworthy, the more you let go of the food
Science products.
I no longer have "allergies", whereas I did feel that this was a background issue back when I was eating any meat, wheat pasta, and so forth.
I eat a little fish these days, mainly sardines: this is partly to avoid the mercury buildup...and as much raw fresh fruit and veg. as possible. I do eat some bread, but bread with walnuts and currants in it--that changes it entirely. And some roti-type/flatbreads I make myself. The cleaner I eat,the better the body feels--and the sharper and happier the mind. That's what I've learned.
As MH says (aka "barefoot" on CZ) : "weed and feed". You change the terrain, buildup the minerals, so that it no longer supports low-level toxicity, and you strengthen the immune system thereby. You stop doing whatever you know to be wrong--which is what is causing deep stress to one's being. It is like living a lie, where the lie is simply against your true -or best- Self.
It's self against Self, at a certain point. There's nothing really 'out there' anymore--it's all made up by one's own focus. There's no blame in any of this, however. Not for one's self, or anyone else; the food scientists, geo-engineers, mercury-addled dentists, city-water floridators...etc.
Everyone is just playing their part. For myself, I've learned that my part is no longer to suffer, nor to entrust my health or ultimate potential to any person or system, but rather to my own actions and thought forms. (But this is not ego-driven. Ego can't drive, not for long, after a few longer water fasts! That's how it feels, anyway.) And so doing/knowing, it's opened me up to the Grace that surrounds and permeates this entire world; Grace that is just patiently waiting to be known.
There is a secret here, hidden in plain sight, you might say. It (Grace) does not share the same Universe (dimensionally-speaking) of any of the low-vibration happenings most people get caught in--which explains why they (so many) often can't 'find it'. And how IT remains uncontaminated, no matter what.
Someone wise once said, "You don't solve the problem with the same mind that created it." "The problem" translates to any perceived discord or dissonance we face. Most of us are looking in the wrong place for the solution, and are continually reinforced and reinforcing one another thereby to keep searching.

*Tests for allergies are sharing the same energetic space as being afflicted with allergies.*

This is something it's taken me many years to wake up to! And I would dearly love to save someone else all that time.
If we could draw this, it would make so much sense--since the mind works with symbols, and we can bypass the 'work it out' brain, and go right to inner knowing. The brain, alas, is attuned to dealing with problems; always alert to fixing something; to finding "what's wrong", which means, first it wants to classify and categorize. And then it gets trapped in figuring it all out, which alienates a person from his/her connection to insight.
(NB: If the pineal gland is atrophied, or calcified via flouride, this can be reversed, and then the brain can be taught new (and the ancient) ways to work, more in line with inspiration than destruction and attack/defence.)
So I would skip the 600 dollar test, and teach yourself muscle testing. Then you can test yourself. The only prerequisite is, you have to have a willingness to know the truth. That, and have an electrical system--which you do, if you're alive. "Perelandra" has a good tutorial, online on this.
Or, maybe better still, I would just honestly look at everything you eat and drink, and ask yourself if it's doing you good--You know the answer. That is, is it making you stronger? If your allergies are such that you feel you can eat nothing--then perhaps it's a good time for a water fast. Or, a re-mineralizing juice feast, to which you can add salads if you get hungry. ? These are just ideas based on what I've learned, but advice that it heartfelt.
I would do some liver flushing, probably. (And rebuilding with milk thistle seed and turmeric...) But that too is easier, after some re-mineralizing, and rebuilding of your own inner strength: your confidence based on accumulated experience of how this stuff really works.> We give power away, when we get too involved in medical stuff, and naming things: symptoms, sensitivities, syndromes. That's the catch-22.
Minerals are the building blocks. Not rock minerals, not pills, but assimilable ones, in their whole food states. Raw food is a great cleanser and healer. (note: not raw meat!) Thankfulness and appreciation of one's own self comes through EFT and Ho'oponopono. And this naturally strengthens one's vibrational field, which quite simply lifts it above "allergies".
So now we can see that there might even be a very fast -like instant- way to lift oneself out of allergies. (and once so lifted, would one even want many of the substances that are possibly triggering?)
But strangely, it's forgiveness that does the most, of anything. That's my experience, anyway. And the liver is a place where unforgiveness can lurk. Unforgiveness of any one, including self, equates to being at war with God, and (self-)exiled from Grace.
But we can work toward it (Grace) from a few angles, or avenues. Maybe start with juice feasting? God is Good. :-)
best, Chiron
Edit--I apologize if this is far more rambling -or preachy!- than seems to be what you asked for. I got a bit carried away with my passion for these varied threads, that all tie back, in my mind, to the question of testing.
