I have been following this forum for about two years before I joined and I know that you swear by EFT, but I must say it really didn't work for me. I didn't know about Ho'oponopono before you mentioned it. The site I encountered when I looked it up says that the main tenet is to ask yourself what in yourself caused the situation you are in. I am not too sure this kind of approach works well for me. For instance, what within a child causes her to be molested? Is it my fault if I was raped in the street? I am sure that there is a mental place one arrives at that makes them understand taking responsibility without blaming oneself; I do not appear to be there yet. At this point I seem to like straightforward buddhist meditation better, of the focus-on-your-breath kind advertised everywhere :). I like it that there is no creator in Buddhism. They still have karma, though, so I guess there's no escape from the responsibility question LOL.
