Sorry to hear the fruit did not work out for you. Check out the recipe I just posted on this forum for kichari. It may not cure you of anything but it could at least be a safe food for you to eat and keep your calories up. At best it could even possibly normalize some of your stomach acid levels but I have no idea. In Northern India, when someone has stomach difficulties they tell then to eat this for all three meals until the problem goes away. Also, according to Indian medicine they say for problems such as your's you should eliminate or reduce consumption of oil, "hot spices" like red pepper and even black pepper, and sour foods, but not sure how much this would help, you could give it a try.
