Re: This constant stomach burning...

Thanks everyone.

I've not tried a piece of fruit for over a year. Would feel strange eating it lol , I've missed the taste though !.
I agree that my body is most likely to acidic , I tried a betaine HCL capsule once and that same night my acid reflux and gastritis went from bad to almost unbearable where I was hunched over the toilet for most of the night.
Still.. I'm glad I did it since it gave me a good idea of what I was dealing with. Sort of a test , the cheaper method !.

I've been afraid of fruit ever since starting the candida diet and to be honest after a year on the diet I think I do have a slight overgrowth but more of my problems lie elsewhere.

What has made me presume candida was the problem for all this time was the fact that Antibiotics started off all my problems but the diet and all the anti fungals really don't do much good for me and I was so strict with my diet.

I've just had a look at a few fruits that are alkaline and compiled a list of a few to try.

My breakfast seems to be very acidic, everyday I'll have a plate of baked beans ( now with gluten free , dairy free bread since reintroducing carbs ) since I can't think of anything else with a high amount of calories I can eat. Eggs for some reason make me feel sick and bloated.

I think making my body more alkaline should help me but I really hope to get to the bottom of why it's so acidic in the first place. Something Antibiotics did , damn how I wish I never took them !.

Thanks again everybody. This place really is a great help.
