Re: Picture of my Lips

Yeah I'm hoping to be cured by mid August, which looks like it may be in reach now! I dont have any pics from earlier on but I can assure you they were nasty. They were extremely crusty with yellow and all that. There was a point where I couldnt close my mouth at all. But no I havent tried any lip stuff because i figured if this is working why stop it. But at some point I may try putting some coconut oil on it or something, Im gonna talk to my dermatologist.

Its hard to say but my peeling cycle is probably a week now, as opposed to 2-3 weeks throughout this process. I just had my final "major crusting phase" last week so its now thinner and clearer as you can see.

Im interested to see how much progress you have been seeing after your major crusting was done, since me and you are so close in timing. Im really hoping this last crusting phase isnt long since I have to go back to school in August. Have you been putting any moisturizer on it to hopefully speed things up? Let me know.

Also I do get a little crusting on the sides of my upper lip but it has always been thin and sort of hard to keep attached (since that part of my lip moves a lot) and part of it seems to be completely healed.
