Re:
I should've said I wasn't taking in enough sodium, either.
That I already realized. But that's been recent. I haven't been taking in enough of all three.
I know this, because my kidneys weren't working properly - and I KNOW that means not enough salt and/or water.
I also realized that I used to be a good coffee consumer, and I haven't been drinking ANY coffee for a good long while now.
I had no idea that coffee is high in potassium. Had no idea. I've been avoiding it because of its dehydrating factor, when it was probably the very thing that kept my legs from swelling!
All I know is that my legs and feet have been like balloons. I have taken in 2
quarts of water per day, and even increased my salt to a half a teaspoon of salt per
quart - and still be liberal with the salt-shaker at mealtime.
MONTHS went by like this. I'd even do the flush and the pushes, but stilll - balloons for calves and feet.
In one night, I had 4 tsps of acv before a salty glutenous meal, then a banana before bedtime, and awoke in the morning with absolutely NO edema in my feet and calves. Just very skinny feet with very wr inkly skin (from the months of edema)
What do YOU think it was?
