Eliminate ALL salt from your diet! I'm not overweight but in an attempt
to reduce my blood pressure I quit all salt. No bacon, no sausage, no
bread, not even salted butter - am going with the salt free butter. In 8
days I've lost 11 pounds - from 194 to 183.
Look at all labels. Bread and flour based snacks have salt. All
canned veggies that I've seen have salt in them. Now's a great time of
year when you can go with fresh and cook it yourself. If you go that
route, you will find that it is really a challenge to eat salt free, but it can
be done.
