Re: Water Fasting for 13 days
Good luck!
Opinions on urine fasting differ. It could be beneficial, I tend to believe, but I would rather not try it for now. Urine drink in the morning, while fasting, had helped bowel elimination in number of cases described by the Russian author Malahov. My main concern is that we would be putting back in the body substances it decided to eliminate previously,. On the other hand, as mentioned, it is known to the body liquid with high concentration of salts, urea, creatinine, etc, that will take in water from the intestine and speed up the total out, together with some old un-cleansed masses.
I believe you would put more challenge on your system having the herbal teas - are you going to have honey with them? - that would be soft fasting, not water fast, which is also good. In that case, if it had been me, I would have 7 teas with 4 of them having a tsp of raw organic honey in them, alternated and spaced at every 2 hrs.
(... and I would be tremendously hungry all the time. I did that, but tree of the intakes were not teas, they were around 300-400 g mono-fruit meals. I got lots of benefits. With such restricted diet you can function, most of the times better than water fast, but would get less health benefits, and would be able to go around 21 days, extreme maximum - 30 days. Beyond that fruit-honey-herbs would get you euphoric, light headed and feeling "strange".).
If you use only the herbs in water, you may irritate your GIT, lots of herbs stimulate the appetite and your digestion would never really stop. I suggest distilled water only and a home water distiller. I invested 200 $ in a water distiller 7 years ago. It is still working with minimal maintenance, had provided my health and as a side effect, saved money on buying spring water/filters etc.
