Re: 3 Years of vertigo, loss of balance, exhaustion -- help!
Hi,
For what it's worth, my brother had Meniere's for a couple years. He had vertigo, and ringing in his ears. It began when he married a southern woman and ate a lot of rich, fried, and unhealthy food, in his late 40's. He is asymptomatic now, divorced...though he still doesn't eat particularly well. The alternative health opinion about Meniere's is that it stems from an overly acidic body state. Although a person may be vegetarian, one can still eat foods which lead to an overly acidic body state, if one eats a lot of grains and dairy, and sweets such as chocolate.
Epilepsy can supposedly also be due to the same imbalanced diet. I think you could either eat sort of a macrobiotic diet (grains, beans, seaweed and vegetables/no dairy or
Sugar or meat) or a paleo diet (meat, fish, vegetables, fruits, nuts) and see some improvement. I think the macrobiotic diet would be the quickest transformation.
I hope you can find a solution. -Deb
