Re: It's out, still suffering

Thanks for your reply. It is "nice" to hear from others suffering.

It's been 10 days since removal and the symptoms have calmed down. Tummy is mostly back to normal and the warmish flashes seem to have dissipated. Had a pretty good couple of days, granted I was tired--really exhaustipated ;) Today, meh, not so great. Started off good, but then I got the shakes (which only lasted 15 minutes this time. Down from an 30 minutes last week which was down from 1½ hours from when I had the evil device in) and now it is 22:31 and that full chest feeling is there again which is coupled with a slightly whirly in the head feeling (but no blood pressure spike).

I just keep taking my vitamins, drinking plenty of water, exercising, and going on with life. I refuse to let this stupid thing rule my life.

I see the doctor on the 28th. I doubt if I can get a silicone test done here, but I am going to demand that my hormone levels be monitored until they return to normal.

Anyway, I am noticing a trend as I read through the posts; it seems that the recovery period is equal to, or slightly more than the time the mirena was in the body. Does this seem accurate to anyone?

Thank you for the words of encouragement. Hope all is going good for you.

/Nicole
