Re: It's out, still suffering

I'm so sorry about your experience. We've all had horrible reactions, and there are so many women on this forum who can identify with your fear and suffering. There are some women who have had almost instant reactions, like yours. It took me a couple years to start reacting. I'm so glad you've had it out! That is the first step to recovery, and you are on the right path. It can only get better, but it can be a roller coaster ride. I've often felt that it was 2 steps forward, 1 step back for me.

It is normal to still feel symptoms, even though it's out. This can be frightening, but it's typical. I don't know why some women react and some do not - why some react instantly, and some do not - why some take a long time to recover, and some recover quickly. Just be good to yourself. Eat well, try to drink a lot of water, try to get enough sleep (insomnia doesn't help, and that is a trouble I've had too, but hang in there). You will get better! You will have good and bad days in your recovery, but you can get through this!

Keep us posted! You're not alone :)

Love,
Diana
