Re: Surgeon recommends surgery?

I had surgery for mine 6 mos ago. They found Aspergillus fungus and took it out. I was terrific until now. It's coming back due to a low white blood count. I hear this is common in people that have a low WBC. I read studies where surgery works if you are healthy and don't have any auto immune issues and if the root of the fungus, like a dandelion isn't so deep, that it will grow back. I don't know what's causing your issue, though. Could be entirely different. He didn't see the fungus until I was in surgery and the 'button' was no bigger than a few millimeters causing all the discomfort and problems. Good luck to you.
