I just wanted let you know that I did some tests(measurements) with some CDS which I made a few nights ago and found that pH did indeed change from its initial reading as distilled water and CDS. That is to say that the CDS read more acidic on the pH meter by about 1 whole point.

Having said that, I'm waiting for some chlorine and chlorine dioxide strips to see if I can't get a better understanding(or reading)of the changes that are taking place during the making of the CDS.

On a side note, I tried making CDS using both the Andreas Kalcker method(with heat) and the forced air method. However, I didn't have the necessary equipment to properly make CDS using forced air and so was too weak a solution to to do any testing with.

Anyways, I wanted to ask you what acid you used in your process and where I might get some. Likewise, can you tell me what solution you use in your scrubber? I've read of people using a lower concentration of unactivated Miracle-Mineral-Supplement but I wasn't able to find any concrete measurements on that. Tweet
