As I said before - the only guru I follow is within me and everyone of us has that same guru within us.  Luke 17:21: "...behold, the kingdom of God is within you."  I'll take that direction over what you wrote - any day.

Body and spirit are completely different.  Everybody on the Planet has a "true soul" within themselves and that's what we are here to do - to find it.  Your body is only a temporary temple for you the spirit and your spirit - your true source, is leading you in every step you take whether it is in prayer, hitting your spouse, or the murder of your worst enemy.  You are here to learn to follow the path that you mapped out before you as spirit took a body.  Once again, to learn your "true soul" simply do as a spiritual leader taught 2,000 years ago and look within yourself.

"Simply nonsense. Thoughts and emotions are energies that need to be integrated with the physical body for genuine spiritual pursuits to be actualized. Body energy is deeply, profoundly vital to spirituality. Your statement could not be any more ridiculous."

Thoughts and emotions are all body energies - not spiritual energies.  Turn off your thoughts for a few minutes.  Just allow yourself to be.  Body energy can be used to learn about spirit.  The energies that are constantly moving in your chakras and energy system are available to heal you - if you turn within and acknowledge them.

I take my direction from a very good source who in Matthew 5:14 said: "You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden." (emphasis added)

All you have to do to find the light within is to look there - and that goes for everyone on the Planet.  To believe that you are your sexuality and emotions is a naive, childish view of reality.  Love (4th chakra) has no connection whatsoever with sex and emotions (2nd chakra) - and never will.

1 John 4:8 "Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love."

Do you really think that that verse says that "God is sex and emotions?"
