If you haven't already tried it, you might want to consider adhering to a very strict sleep-wake schedule for a while to see if it helps. Some people are very sensitive to shifts of even a couple hours in bed or wake time, even if it's just on weekends. It can cause brain fog and irregular mood swings in some people that persist for days after.
