Re: High Biounavailable Copper, but Zinc causes spider veins

Im sorry to hear its been such a rough bout -

I have been trying to get rid of copper too, other than taking zinc, vitamin C, etc. the only other ways I know of are sauna's (have my doubts if this really works though) and DMSA/ALA.

One thing that could be helpful though - is I take an SBF formula from ARL which actually has copper in it. I take this while I take zinc, the idea being it helps your body from being even more deprived of copper while your detoxing the useful and not useful stuff. Can't tell if SBF is helping me or not - may be worth a try for you though, lots of good stuff in it.

Also in my opinion you may need to see a more specialized practitioner- because that sounds like there is more than just copper toxicity going on? And no offense to a lot of the naturopaths we all work with - who are great - I think some of their knowledge is limited (echoing previous post about this seeming like a med school exam). Best.
