ok, emergency problem
i got a bad tooth that has to come out. long story short, i went to the dentist. he did four different blocks with lidocain and maybe one of them was a different med. this is a pain-free dentist(which is the only reason i am there is the painless pulling). the tooth never got numb. it was sore as a boil the whole time, throbbing in pain while the rest of that side was numb and drooping. the dentist was fairly young and reasonably shaken by the whole experience. he sent me home with a scriipt for vicoprophen and amoxycillin.
first problem - what am i taking that is keeping the meds from working? i have had this problem before and chalked it up to too much vitamin C or being iodinated. this time i have taken iodine by the half gram, a couple of liters of home made silver water over the past week, dropped iodine and oregano oil on the tooth, and waterpik with hydrogen peroxide.
the second problem is related to the first. this thing is really swelling up now. i have to have that down for tomorrow at 10 am to try all over again. of course i dont want to take the antibiotics, but what do i use instead? and is it the thing thats interfering with the anesthetics?
any and all guesses would be appreciated.
