Re: help for an abscess whose infection has spread to the jaw bone ...please help

WOW, THANKS EVERYONE! ARN, QUALITYOFLIFE, MU-SHEN, SD2345! :) i'm so sorry i didnt get back to you sooner - i wasn't expecting such a wonderful outpouring of support so soon! :)

...i will definitely try the oregano and garlic (by the way, i don't think there is any abscess visible, there is only a pocket of pain along the edge of my jaw that can be felt from the outside, do u think that is something else, and/or something worse??)

...i can't see a dentist now, for a number of reasons :( ...can't afford but also can't get to the dentist, and also i have anxiety about having the dentist up that close to me :(

...and i dont know what action i could go with i did see one - if they want to do root canal(S), i dont want that, so what can i do? i don't know much about this - do you know if they can treat the infection with Antibiotics , then (in case the filling has leaked and is letting substances/bacteria in) do a new filling and have that be enough? or otherwise i'd have to get the tooth pulled?

(and then i am worried about "dry socket" and/or cavitation - are those the same thing? and in case that has to happen, are there any ways to prevent that/those?)

THANK YOU ALL, FOR YOUR GUIDANCE, THROUGH THIS VERY HARROWING TIME...
