It's quite easy to become slightly arrogant when the cloud lifts and brain function starts returning - then your heart starts to open up and you notice the idiocy. I've been through the anger detox before too, I don't think I'm over it though personally. However, there's also the other side, joy/happiness that elevates you - like yin/yang philosophy happening inside of you.

Now that you've improved, you've subconsciously recompared yourself to others and noticed certain attributes that you perceive as slow-moving and slow-thinking in others. You've got to understand that many zombies walk this earth, they became zombies due to lifestyle choices that they more than likely would not choose if there was not so much advertising for fast-food, junk-food, and poor choice alternatives that create appeal for sedentary environments. There are many reasons why "those" people are at that point, and frankly, it's easy to judge others without understanding how they got to that point in the first place. Ohh, and as people get older, post-retirement, in their communities, it reverts to an almost high-school like click/group segregatory behavior with backstabbing, immaturity, and child-like behavior. If you get a chance to truly study the behavior, it's a lot more subtle, but it's there. The subtleness of it is due to older people having less energy to make it more obvious, so they do it conservatively. It's like people never change.

I notice the fast-moving people too and strive to surpass them, that's where my focus goes instead of the slow-movers. Food-for-thought.
