Hi there, thanks for your message, my daughter continues to experience hairloss, but 6 weeks post removal it isn't falling out in clumps/handfulls like it was, she is still having more than 'normal' hairloss, but the amount that is falling out seems to be lessening. I am certain this is hormonal and definately caused by the Mirena. I am hoping too that the hairloss with continue to slack off. There for a while I was afraid she was going to lose it all it was coming out so much at a time. It got to where she would try not to even touch/brush it, it was falling out so bad. She had her hormonal levels checked and the Dr said it was all 'normal' but clearly it isn't 'her' normal. I sure hope her body/hormones regulate and she continues to heal and improve.
