Re: Nearly four weeks on candida diet: no change - advice?
Ok but just remember, whatever you take, you are not just "killing" something with it. Your stomach has to deal with it,your intestines have to deal with it, your liver has to process it and whatever it kills. You are taking it. All of you. Your whole body. Not just the candida. It is an added burden. And with myself I have found that yes, I can kill things, but the ramifications weaken me, so they just are back stronger the next day. They are happy when I kill them, because my body's detoxification system is clogged, it clogs things more, making me weak, my immune system weaker, and they thrive. It's sort of like killing bad people in iraq, and then small children see the violence, and end up hating america and grow up to bomb things. So yes, we win in the short run, but the whole organism is weakened. (I actually know very little about international affairs this is only an analogy.) I find it is helpful to think of my body as a supportive friend, what would you like to feel better? how can I help you be stronger? Instead of the enemy harboring something I have to Kill. Killing yeasts and
parasites is easy, not going down with them is hard. (some things, like garlic, impede them but support liver and immune system).
