addition: Mucho info! :) Re: acne and marijuana (peeling the health onion)
Me again :)
You said in your first post that you quit smoking pot for 20 days and didn't see much change. 20 days isn't long enough to note any major changes. THC is fat soluable, so at the very minimum, you won't see any major changes until you've been clean for 30-45 days...just fyi.
I've 'been there done that' as far as daily tokin' over the decades. I had MAJOR problems giving it up, until I researched the various withdrawal symptoms and how long they last. If you ever decide to quit, make sure and check out what you're "in for" (possibly, not all people have withdrawal symptoms). Most of the side effects of withdrawal are very subtle, a couple are not-so-subtle (intense dreaming, flu-like symptoms), but they were enough to keep me smoking (once for several years).
Once I understood why I was feeling so incredibly crappy when I quit, it was MUCH easier to give it up. And no matter what other symptoms you have because of it... (unless you're drinking tea, eating brownies or using hash oil orally)...the harm to the lungs is substantial...and whenever you block the flow of oxygen, you end up with all kinds of subtle problems. (and many arenot so subtle, ultimately). One joint (about 1/2 a gram to most people) contains the tar of a FULL pack of unfiltered cigarettes..ouch! And if you're 'into resin', it's even more. Take a deep toke sometime and exhale through a tissue or paper-towel...it'll make a believer out of ya, fersure. No lecture here (not a chance from this ole gal! :) but of all the organs you don't want to pack with toxins & tar, it's the lungs...'tain't no such thing as a lung cleanse!
And regarding the muscle/weight thing...are you getting enough good clean fats in your diet? That's an easy one to miss when we go 'raw & natural' :)
Flush ON!
