From my experience, I do not trust the synchrometer. First, it take at least 6 months of heavy usage to get even decently good at it and even then, it is subject to the influences of the operator.

I do trust equipment such as the QXCI/SCIO as it is independent or operator influence. Sadly, who the heck can afford one?

Possibly a logical pathway, but in reality, I consider methanol to be just as damaging as benzene. Possibly, even worse because it produces 6 times as much methanol as the benzene that is present.
