I ended up ordering a couple of different types and was able to get free shipping.

(QFI sells 3 grades of coconut oil and will email you a price list if you ask them. They'll be updating their website soon.) If you order $125 of product, they'll ship free within Canada). I ordered a bucket of the top quality one, Coco-Creme, plus a jar of it, to meet the minimum.

What I'm hearing is that most of the coconut oil is coming from the Philippines and Thailand and that there are 3 levels of quality that are being packaged under various different brand names. At Upaya Naturals, the Tropic would be the lowest quality, the Artisana the middle and quite good quality, and the Quality First International Coco-Creme the top quality (so a sales rep told me).
