I'm thinking of buying a gallon and they all come in hard plastic pails at that size. What I'm thinking is to maybe put it into glass jars after receiving it.

i agree, I don't like buying coconut in plastic, but you can save a lot of $ if you buy bulk and get a bucket at a time.
