I'd never buy coconut oil in a plastic jar. When the coconut oil is left in a warm/room temperture place..it melts right through the container.

Best I have found so far is made by "Artisana". It does taste better than the previous organic coconut oil I bought in a plastic tub. I think cold pressed is better than regular expeller pressed (produces heat) and I like the glass jar for purity...

here’s a ‘special’ in my email today…if you scan the site they have gallon size vco…..

I’ve tried many brands…from various companies can’t say I’ve found the ‘one and only’… coconut has a large taste/large smell it tends to be about the same for me!

I typically buy large amounts (and inventory the savings) but purchase smaller size containers- not a gallon size..I’ve brought 32oz jars several times they store good…and like some of their other products- I like the shredded coconut to use in cooking or smoothies and have ordered two gals of it at a time… and daily counter storage in a 32oz jar for easy use ..just be sure to realize the fiber is ‘up there’.

I’ve used their low/ ‘no smell’ oil for cooking…it works fine was less expensive and good for mixing when you don’t need the smell with other foods or in homemade body lotions-mixes…again no smell. I like the smell but not 100 per-cent of the time.

I use Nutiva. I buy it in gallon tubs, and I keep the tub in the refrigerator, and only take out what I need to melt. I tried other brands, but Nutiva tastes the best to me.
